Send and receive messages with your child's Vanderbilt doctor's office
Messages are typically answered within two business days. An email will come to your personal email address alerting you to go to www.myhealthatvanderbilt.com to see the response. Do not send emergency messages through My Health at Vanderbilt.

See lab and test results and explanations of lab tests
Many lab and test results are available on MyHealthAtVanderbilt, but please note that lab and test results may not be online for several days. In some cases, the doctor's office will call you to discuss lab and test results before they appear online.
You will have access to health information selected by Vanderbilt Medical Center libraians for its quality and based on your child's age and particular medical conditions.
See and pay Vanderbilt medical bills online
You can see hospital and physician bills for services provided to your child. You may pay those bills online using a credit card. To pay your bill online without logging into My Health at Vanderbilt, visit Online Bill Pay.
How to open a My Health at Vanderbilt account for a child
During a Clinic or Hospital Visit
- Fill out the application form for your child's age.
• For children up to 12 years old, fill out 1 form and show ID.
• For teens 13-17 years old, the teen fills out the participation form; the adult fills out the application form and shows ID.
- Return the completed form to the front desk as you check out.
A Vanderbilt employee will sign as witness and view the parent's photo ID. Legal guardians must also make a copy of the original custody papers.

Parent or Guardian
If you don't already have a My Health at Vanderbilt account, please log on to MyHealthatVanderbilt.com and set up an account for yourself. You must have an account to access your child's account. We'll send you an email when your account has been created.
If you want to let another adult view the child's medical information, log into your account, click on the child's name, click on "Add a Delegate" and follow the instructions.
Child birth to 12 years old
You'll receive an email when your child's account is active.
Teens 13 to 17 years old
You and your child will each receive an email when the account is active.
