The Pediatric Neurovascular Center at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt is a multidisciplinary group of doctors and health care providers with a specific interest in conditions that affect blood vessels in the brain and spine in children. With an emphasis on comprehensive evaluation, treatment and research, the Center represents our commitment to further advancement in pediatric stroke care. Neurovascular disease in children requires a dedicated team, and we are here to provide superior care for these conditions.
Conditions we treat include:
- Arteriovenous malformations (AVM) and vein of Galen malformations
- Cerebral cavernous malformations (CCM)
- Developmental venous anomalies (DVA)

All available medical records including imaging, laboratory work and medication history are requested in order to provide a complete evaluation. If you need help in obtaining these records, please call us at (615) 875-7368.
Appointments can be made by calling (615) 875-7368 between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. (CST) with a physician referral. For after hours calls, please leave a detailed message and contact information.
