When it comes to anesthesia; one size does not fit all. Children react differently to anesthesia than adults. This is why our pediatric anesthesiologists have years of additional training to ensure the safety, comfort, and best outcomes for your child.
Your child is in skilled and experienced hands
Our goal is to keep your child as comfortable as possible before, during, and after surgery. We will explain the steps in the anesthesia process and answer questions to help reduce anxiety—for both you and your child. A member of our team will explain how your child will separate from you, who will provide care in the operating and recovery rooms, and how they wake up to familiar faces.
After reviewing medical records and speaking with you, your child, and your child's doctor, we will create a personalized anesthesia plan. It is important to answer questions accurately to ensure the safety of your child.
