Course objectives

  1. Describe the management of exercise in Type 1 Diabetes
  2. Identify the treatment interventions in preventing obesity and Type 2 Diabetes as well as discuss treatment goals and regimens for teens with Type 2 Diabetes.
  3. Discuss the use of insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitors, including recent advancements in automatic insulin delivery.
  4. Apply strategies learned to diabetes case scenarios in the school setting.
