Parenting and Behavior Clinic (PABC)
What we do
The PABC is a program for families with children up to age eight who have behavioral challenges in the home or in school. Families will see a psychologist and a behavior specialist for a 50-minute session to share behavior strategies and create a plan for next steps. The plan may include referrals for school enrollment, a psychological evaluation, speech-language or occupational therapy evaluations, and behavior management programs such as the Regional Intervention Program (RIP) or Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)

Preparing for your clinic visit
On the day of the appointment, please have your child take their medications. Bring along anything your child may need during the appointment. These may include snacks, drinks, diapers and wipes, a change of clothes, and a few activities in case there is down time. It is best if siblings do not attend the appointment. If siblings must come, please bring an adult who can care for them in the waiting area.
