Pediatric Cardiology Team

The cardiac specialists at the Pediatric Heart Institute treat children of all ages with congenital and acquired heart problems. Care may begin before birth and continue through young adulthood. Because you entrust your child's care to us, we want you to know who we are and how we work together.

Pediatric Cardiologists
Our cardiologists diagnose, treat, and manage your child's care. Our team includes a broad range of specialists, giving your family access to experts and pioneering treatments available right here at Children's Hospital.

Pediatric Heart Surgeons
Our pediatric heart surgeons are some of the most skilled in the nation. They perform cardiac surgeries, heart transplants, and follow-up care as needed. We often chose minimally invasive treatments when it's the best option for your child.

Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologists
Pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists are specially trained in the unique needs of children undergoing surgery and other cardiac studies. They know how children with heart disease react to anesthesia and work with the pain management team to ensure your child is comfortable.

Pediatric Cardiac Intensivists
Pediatric cardiac intensivists provide care while your child is in the intensive care unit. They are specially trained in treating heart conditions in children.

Pediatric cardiology fellows are doctors who are receiving three years of specialized training in cardiac care and research.

Cardiac Nurses
Our pediatric cardiac nurses have gone through extra training to learn the best ways to care for and educate young patients and their families.
