Pediatric Urology Services

Call (615) 936-1060 to schedule an appointment with Pediatric Urology.

Our urologists care for more than 15,000 children each year at Children's Hospital and locations across Tennessee. We perform more than 2,200 surgical cases per year, making us one of the most experienced urology teams in the country.

Care in the simple things and the most complex conditions

We are equipped to offer a full range of office-based procedures, from newborn circumcision to complex videourodynamics. Our trained and certified personnel can perform an ultrasound of your child's kidneys and/or bladder if required as part of the diagnostic work-up. Our goal is to make you and your child as comfortable as possible during these procedures.

Robotic-assisted surgery

Pediatric Urology was the first division in Children's Hospital to use this technology, and we performed the first pediatric robotic renal surgery in the state of Tennessee. Our surgeons are also skilled at reconstructive procedures with standard laparoscopy. Minimally invasive surgery offers outcomes that mirror that of open surgery with excellent cosmesis and the potential for earlier recovery.

Because of innovative techniques our surgeons and staff have pioneered, we can improve your child's post-operative course and shortening their hospital stays.
