Dialysis and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapies
Our team of specialists carefully analyze nutrition, metabolic status, and growth to realize the best outcomes possible for children with kidney disease, including achieving normal growth and development. For children with chronic kidney disease treated with dialysis, our ultimate goal is a successful kidney transplant.
Children with chronic kidney disease from throughout across the region receive outpatient dialysis treatments at our clinics. Dialysis treatments may be performed at home, in the outpatient clinic, or in the hospital. They receive in-center hemodialysis, home-hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis under the care of a team that includes physicians, nurses, a renal dietician, and social workers.
