Children from across the globe find health and healing at Children's Hospital. We work with teams from Vanderbilt and other institutions to take the knowledge we are learning in our labs, classrooms, and clinics to the world.
The facility and staff at Children's Hospital work hard at improving the availability of local medical and surgical care for impoverished children in Guatemala. Visit this section to learn more about our work in Guatemala.
International Adoption Clinic
Our International Adoption Clinic helps prospective parents make informed decisions during an emotional process. The clinic is one of only a few in the United States providing a full service medical consultative program for families involved in international adoptions.
Vanderbilt Institute for Global Health
The Vanderbilt Institute for Global Health fosters interdisciplinary research, teaching, and service activities linked to health and development in resource limited settings of the developing world.
Vanderbilt Center for Latin American Studies
We work closely with the Vanderbilt University Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) where many of the world's foremost cultural anthropologists with expertise on Gautemala are based. The U.S. Department of Education has designated the CLAS as a National Resource Center on Latin America.
